Membership
Every year, Psi Sigma Phi looks forward to recruiting men who feel the need to give us their all for multiculturalism through community service and education. The road to becoming a brother of the Fraternity is not an easy one, Psi Sigma Phi encourages all prospective applicants to first join our interest program (Squire Program). For more information about our Squire program or becoming a brother read the sections below.
Psi Sigma Phi Squire Program
Acknowledged as the official interest group of Psi Sigma Phi. PSP Squires are collegiate men in the early stages of their journey to becoming a brother of Psi Sigma Phi.
The easiest way to become a PSP Squires is to attend an interest meeting, which are held throughout the semester. If you are unable to attend the scheduled interest meetings or happen to have missed the final interest meetings of a semester check our are Event Calendar to find an upcoming program to attend and inform any available brother of your interest in the organization. If you are unable to attend any events/meetings, you can send an email and someone will contact you with information on how to go about joining the PSP Squire program.
As a PSP Squire, one will:
- Foster relationships with Brothers and fellow Squires
- Participate in Community Service Events
- Receive invites to selected Fraternity Events
- Learn to conduct fundraisers and programs
- Increase their cultural awareness
The Squire program is open to all, even those with bad grades. However since the Squire Program does not guarantee you a privilege to pledge, a Squire will not be granted the privilege to pledge until their cumulative GPA is at or above the minimum grade point average required to pledge.
Once again please be aware that, joining the PSP Squire Group does not guarantee the priviledge to pledge for Psi Sigma Phi, nor does it obligate any person to select Psi Sigma Phi as the fraternity they will pledge for.
